MSE III - PUSAT SAINS NEGARA

Assalamualaikum wbt

alhamdulillah all praises to Allah.
on 21st september 2013 we managed to conduct MSE III.
For this time we made MSE a bit different by brought them to Pusat Sains Negara,Kuala Lumpur.
We let them discover and explore science world there as our theme for this program is
'lets explore the world through science'.
Alhahmdulillah we got 40 students from SK Gombak Utara and 40 committees from titian asli involved.
We depart from UIA to SK Gombak Utara at 830 am and reached there at 845 am,after ice breaking session and divide the student
into 7 group we depart to Pusat Sains Negara.
We arrived at Pusat Sains Negara at 10 am and have some breakfast there.As the students already divided by group so we enter the exhibition center by group.
There is so many science stuff to discover.Not only the students were excited but also the committees.
at 12 pm some science show were conduct there,we make them gather and watch the show.Then we have our lunch at the park.
at 2 pm we depart from Pusat Sains Negara and going back to school and UIA.
Alhamdulillah although they are quite tough to handle and control we manage to control them and there is no one missing in action.

IBADAH MENTORING CAMP AT KG.SG. GAPOI,BENTONG PAHANG

Alhamdulillah,alhamdulillah...

On 27th and 28th april 2013 we have conducted a program named Ibadah Mentoring Camp (IMC) at Kg.Sg Gapoi,Bentong Pahang.The purpose of this program is to guide the muslims at this kampung the proper and the right way of ablution,prayer and etc.As they are new to islam so it is our responsibility to guide them.

As usual we gather and depart from iium at 1230 pm and arrived at kg sg gapoi around 3 pm.
as we arrived at kg sg gapoi we started our agenda.There are some group go for home visit and one group prepared for dinner with he villagers.for your information the villagers at kg.sg gapoi is bit different from other kampung because they are very friendly and helpful.

At 830pm we have dinner and movie.We managed to finish early for the 1st day because the cooperation from all members and also villagers.There are also officers from jakoa with us, ustaz Anuar,Ustaz Nik Fauzan and kak Yong that help us a lot during the program.

Alhamdulillah our second day start with qiamulail,and then we went around the village to invite villagers for breakfast and our next module.

At 9 am we start our main 'menu' of this program.The adult were gather at the hall for the IMC program while the children were gather at the kindergarten for MSE program.

Around 4 pm we packed up and depart from kg sg gapoi to iium.We were very happy because the memory we created at the village and also the knowledge and experience we brought back.

MSE 1

Assalamualaikum w.b.t and praise to Allah for His blessings
Its been a while since we update our blog and we are very sorry of that.

On 20th of April 2013, we had organised a mentoring programme on SK Gombak Utara.
This mentoring programme is organised for Orang Asli elementary students with an age range
between 10 to 12 years old. This programme is named MSE 1 or Mathematics,Science and English.
Our goal for this programme is to educate and to cultivate interest towards these subjects among orang asli students. As we already know, mathematics and science are considered a crucial subject for all students to master. And we sincerely hoped that through this programme, students will take this subjects as a fun subjects.

Little that we know it is not only us teaching them but they too has something to teach us.
Their smile and laugh during the programme melts our hearts and wash away our tiredness during the programme.We sincerely hoped that we could meet them again and we pray for their success and good health

OUTREACH TO KAMPUNG ULU TAMU

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim....Assalamualaikum w.b.t
alhamdulillah all praises to Allah..
On 17 march 2013 we managed to organize a program named Outreach To Kampung Ulu Tamu.
This one day program is to expose the new member of Titian Asli Club to kampung orang asli.So that they will have an idea how and what is orang asli look like,whether the orang asli in Malaysia meet their expectation or not and so on.

We took off from IIUM at 9 a.m and we reached the village at 1030 a.m.Without wasting time we proceed with our agenda.We are divided by group and were assigned to the respective home to visit.As we visit home by home we also ask them to join us to clean the village.

At 1100 a.m we start cleaning the village.Luckily,the members and the villagers give full cooperation to the success of our program.

After lunch and zuhur prayer,we were assigned to respective home once again to ask survey question.Alhamdulillah we got the good respond from villagers although they are very shy at first.

Alhamdulillah we managed to finish early,and at 4 p.m we start to pack up and go back to iium.
Everyone was happy and satisfied with this shortone day program and the new members also looking forward to the next program.

Titian Asli Induction Course (TACTIC 2013)

Alhamdulillah and praise to Allah for His blessings we, Titian Asli Club managed to organised Titian Asli Induction Course 2013 (TACTIC 2013). This two day program which begins from 8/3/2013 to 9/3/2013 is lead by Brother Nik Muhammad Uqbah is considered as a successful program as we managed to achieve our goals of this program. We hope from this program the new members wouldn't feel awkward around other members and see each other as part of a family. This coincides with our club motto ' Bridging The Distance, Manifesting The Existence'.

Various games and module had been planned by the committee for this program. The participant of this program, mostly new intake students were invited and they have given good response during the program. All of us enjoy ourselves during the program and of course the ukhuwah of all of us have become stronger.
This bond is what connecting us together and insyaAllah , we hope this bond will last till Jannah.

Humanitarian Expo 2012/2013

First of all,Alhamdulillah thanks to Allah because Titian Asli still standing with new tenure for this year.In conjunction of Humanitarian Expo 2012/2013 we managed to open the booth as our first event for this year and this tenure.
This expo was held for 3 days from 13 to 15 february 2013 in front of Sultan Ahmad Shah mosque,IIUM.
The objective of this open booth for this expo is to expose or introduce our Titian Asli club to students especially to new intake students.We also manage to recruit some new members to our club.
